All smart changes in one place

The Smart City concept improves transportation and shopping experiences of citizens. In order to do that, all of the administrative functions and operational maintenance must be worked out in detail. The Smart City core is dedicated to the system administrators and business users, and it offers reporting functionalities. Real-time management of users’ data, promotions and offers, as well as partner onboarding is easier than ever. There is also a unique Contact Center Web Application that serves as a back office tool. The online Contact Center serves inbound and outbound communication with participants of the Smart City projects and all partners involved.

Smart transport management

One place to manage all transportation companies and means of public transport. The core module creates the link between different means of transport and shows the full metropolitan transportation network (city and suburbs). It’s the easiest way to have all traffic information in one place, deal with traffic jams, delays and communicate with commuters or other travelers, with no complicated integration involved.

Behind the scenes

The core of our Smart City solution comprises of two main parts. There is a business administration module as well as a Contact Center. Business Administration is an essential module of the Comarch Smart City Platform. It allows a system user to manage and control key business rules and technical configurations. It is possible to define multiple user account types, each of them boasting a distinctive set of rights and privileges. The platform uses member segments created with the business administration tool or imported from the business intelligence module. The module also contains the beacon management panel and is designed to maximize simplicity. Beacons can easily be filtered by location or partner, and for most users, 3 types of beacons are usually sufficient, and recommended:

• Entry – install near the entrance in order to attract visitors;

• Counter – a short frequency beacon used to add points to customer accounts;

• Transit – installed in corridors and aisles to track the flow of people.

Additional types of sensors used within the program can be configured using the Business Administration Module.

The Contact Center module offers easy access to all of the information related to customer accounts and functionalities that are crucial for resolving claims. It was designed to manage inbound and outbound communication coming from and being sent via multiple channels, such as phone calls, e-mails, fax or text messages.
